Homeopathy: psuedoscience or a miracle

A miracle is what always we are hoping for. But why, is it because we want something which we can not understand and is something non-conventional and different and yet it would perform feats which are normally not probable. This effect of expectation of something new and complex is more frequently abundant in people with less resources or we can say , it is in some way a function of a GDP of a country. So the same thing applies when we compare people who want to take alternative medicine, this same effect causes one to choose an alternative medicine which would miraculously somehow cure an inherent disease someone posses.

But however, it's safe to say that the modern scientific community have outright rejected the homeopathy as a sham and pseudoscience which would cause more harm than good, as a patient would have a false idea of his treatment but there is no treatment going on but just non-effective non-related chemicals ingested. There are also improvements seen but those don't exceed much as would be from the Placebo effect. Here's something interesting , a Placebo effect is actual improvement in a condition of a disease by just giving inert medicine which are no medicine at all. Our brain the most powerful and complex living entity which have baffled the scientific community and the biologists altogether from time to time, with its strange capability to react romantically over certain situations especially this effect called placebo. The brain thinks there is something we are doing to dramatically improve our condition , by comprehending this , there is somehow actual improvement over a condition which neurobiologists are still to understand how and why would such a seemingly fictional but real situation happen.

In the end, I would say we live in a free world and in democracy, so I wouldn't push anyone to stop themselves from consulting homeopathic doctors, feel free to hurt yourself anytime you want!
